Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, founded in 1994, is Missouri’s first and largest museum dedicated entirely to contemporary art. Admission is always free. The Linda Hall Library is one of the world’s leading independent research libraries dedicated to science and technology. Unleash your curiosity. Select a book of interest from the Casual Reading Corner and take a selfie reading it in the Main Reading Room. Look thoughtful and brilliant like you read books on chaos theory or thermonuclear dynamics for fun.
Since 1982, The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures has delighted audiences with the world's largest collection of fine-scale miniatures and one of the nation’s largest collections of historically significant toys on public display. Located in the historic Tureman Mansion on the campus of the University of Missouri-Kansas City, visitors step into a place where art and history converge.

Make it your goal to see the world’s one and only Toytisserie, a colorful tornado of toys in the Museum lobby that spans both floors. Snap a selfie with your favorite toy on the sculpture.
